The Ethos OD Preamp, a highly regarded option for those seeking a boutique guitar amp experience, is shipped with a Power Adapter that has the following characteristics: a.) INPUT VOLTAGE: 120VAC @ 60Hz b.) OUTPUT VOLTAGE: 12 VDC (Unregulated) @ 500mA [The unregulated 12 VDC actually = 16VDC with the ETHOS load]
II. The Ethos guitar preamp will also operate with Power Adapters that generate a (5%) REGULATED +18VDC output.
III. DC Dunlop Brick using the +18VDC output. This adapter works with many input power voltages around the world and is ideal for those using overdrive effects.
IV. Voodoo Lab, Pedal Power 2 and 2+. Use the L6 outputs (channels 5 OR 6) which provide between 16 and +17VDC. Note: You must set the channel dip switch to the NON-normal position.
TLE/CLASSIC SWITCH MOD +$
THIS MOD OFFERS BOTH VERSIONS: TLE & CLASSIC. Available exclusively on the boutique guitar amp, the Ethos OD Preamp & Ethos OD Amp. HRM EQ MOD & HRM BYPASS SWITCH MOD +$
The HRM eq is a finely tuned, three band post EQ, inspired by the later models of the most sought after boutique guitar amp. Designed to work with both the Ethos Clean and Fusion Channels, the HRM eq significantly expands the tonal palette of the Ethos, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a high-quality guitar preamp. The HRM can be adjusted to achieve an almost flat response with a subtle emphasis on the high and low ends, perfect for enhancing your overdrive effects.
The HRM toggle Bypass Switch instantly returns you to the base tone, allowing you to switch back and forth on the fly as desired.

The FX Loop mod for our boutique guitar amp was developed after great customer demand. By locating the FX Loop in the preamp section, your effects can be effectively heard through the normal and speaker simulation outputs, in addition to the speaker out. This configuration proves to be incredibly useful when running a feed from the speaker simulation to the PA/board while still listening via the amp's local speaker. The FX Loop is integrated within the Ethos guitar preamp, so when you bypass the unit, the overdrive effects will also be bypassed.

The Mid Shift Boost Mod is a rocker switch (located on the side of the boutique guitar amp opposite your feet) that selects a circuit to lower the corner frequency of the treble control, adding more mids to the tone stack. This modification results in a richer, thicker tone response, enhancing the overall sound quality of the guitar preamp. It is based on the mid shift circuit used in the renowned Dxmble S/N 102 Overdrive Special, known for its exceptional overdrive effects.
